The awards celebrate British business and the vital importance of business enterprise and innovation to the economy.

High Efficiency Gas Fires

The Valor range of gas fires have been developed to minimise their impact on the environment. Standard inset convector fires have a typical energy efficiency of around 65% nett. Valors range of high efficiency fires are typically 89% nett efficient. These gas fires convert more of the energy input in to a useable energy output and are typically 38% less expensive to run.

Homeflame Range

The homeflame gas fire range boasts up to 89% efficiency and 4.3kW heat output and is considered the benchmark in high efficiency fires.

Balanced Flue

Balanced flue fires are room sealed. This means they balance the level of incoming and outgoing air, which in turn makes them very energy
efficient.

Outset / Radiants

Valor radiant fires offer up to 82% efficiency rating with heat you can really feel. Outset fires can incorporate a coal effect living flame and achieve efficiencies typically up to 88%.

Which type of fire is right for you?

Choosing the right fire is dependant on what type of chimney you currently have. Take a ook at the pictures below and you can then decide which one best matches the chimney at your home. You na then request a Valor brochure and simply check it’s suitable for the chimney at your property.

Brick built chimney (deep chimney)

Suitable for all fires, the classic brick-built chimney can handle fires with a deep bed right through to shallower slimline styles.

Prefabricated flue (deep flue)

Suitable for most fires, pre-fabricated flues are deep enough to take most of the deep models and all of the slimline styles.

Pre-cast flue (slimline flue)

Usually found in modern homes, pre-cast flues are suitable for a wide range of slimline fires. However, a number of deeper fires can be adapted for pre-cast flues with the use of a spacer kit. Please note - some remedial building work may be required, please consult your builder or contact Invicta Gas

No chimney or flue

Our wide range of gas and electric fires can be fitted in most homes, even if you have no chimney or flue we have a selection of fires for you. A separate brochure is available for our electric range.

Activeheat™ and radiant heat

All fires give out radiant heat. The heat moves outwards from the fire, so the closer you get to the fire the warmer you feel. Whilst this is suitable for most homes, creating additional warmth throughout the room can take some time. This is where Activeheat™ helps. Fires with Activeheat™ not only give out radiant heat but actively draw in the cold air from the room, pass it through a heat exchanger to warm it up and circulate it back around the room by means of natural convection.
